We advertise vacancies via New Zealand newspapers, specialist publications, recruitment websites and this website. We shortlist applicants who will usually attend an interview panel but telephone interviews may be arranged for overseas applicants.
You must be legally able to work in New Zealand, that is you must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have the correct work or student permit. We may help the exceptional overseas applicants to obtain a work permit but cannot guarantee your employment until a permit has been granted. Visit the New Zealand Immigration Service website at http://www.immigration.govt.nz for more information.
We are an equal opportunities employer. We do not tolerate sexual harassment, or discrimination on the grounds of gender, age, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, marital or family status, disability or illness.
All offers of employment are conditional until we receive satisfactory references and a medical health screening. We won’t take up references without your permission and we cover the cost of the health check.
We generally offer employment on an ongoing basis, although temporary or fixed-term work may be available for particular projects. Our staff make individual employment agreements which set out the conditions of work and expectations of both the person and the company.
