Science Fellow to Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).

 

Extensive voluntary work for technical societies, e.g. member of Editorial Board for three international journals, Chair of technical committees of several international societies, organiser of several international conferences, and Senior Advisor to government organisations in Australia and the U.S.

 

Research subjects:


- Spray drift, application, atomization, transport, deposition, environmental fate, optimization and efficacy for industrial, agricultural, forestry and vector control applications in New Zealand, Australia, the U.S. and worldwide. 

- Research into industrial spray applications, patternation, atomisation processes and spray visualisation. 

- Management of wind tunnel facilities for spray research.  - Field and laboratory studies for diverse application types.  - Spray atomisation and drift modelling. 

- Education, including training courses for government and industry groups. 

 

Current projects:

 

Pesticide application research and training projects for FRST and other groups in New Zealand and overseas.
